The most concrete movement this cycle is the entry of City of Jefferson's wastewater treatment plant project, which appeared on the priority list for the first time with an estimated cost of $126.5M, among the largest figures in this month's new listings. City of Oak Creek was also added to the list, with a drinking water project to construct a chlorine contact tank, UV disinfection, lift pumps, and piping carrying an estimated cost of $50.0M. City of Portage shows a requested amount of $55.5M on file for a wastewater treatment plant upgrade addressing phosphorus removal, equipment upgrades, and biosolids drying.

Across the category rollup, wastewater treatment carries the largest tracked value at $2.0B across 223 projects, while collection and sewer work spans the most projects among the listed categories at 307, valued at $922.3M. Watermain and distribution work totals 226 projects at $385.7M, and PFAS and emerging contaminants work, smallest by count at 38 projects, still carries $385.8M in tracked value, a figure close to the watermain category despite far fewer projects.

Smaller movements also appear on the roster. Village of Iron Ridge climbed in priority rank for a headworks upgrade replacing pumps and installing a new screen, estimated at $1.5M, and City of Stanley climbed in priority rank for a well rehabilitation project estimated at $326K. Neither carries the dollar weight of the larger new listings, but both sit on the same roster adopted April 2026.

The gap between 430 new listings and 480 projects no longer listed stands out in this cycle's data, a reminder that entries and exits move independently of the net total of 72 and do not explain each other on the current Wisconsin DNR documents.
